Vape Device Charging, Storage and Travel Safety
Rechargeable vape hardware contains a battery and should be treated as electronic equipment. Use the product instructions, keep charging components in good condition and check current carrier or venue rules before travelling.
Charging basics
- Use only the charging method specified for the device.
- Charge on a stable, dry surface away from heat and flammable material.
- Do not charge a swollen, leaking, wet or visibly damaged device.
- Disconnect the device when charging is complete according to its instructions.
- Keep charging hardware away from children and pets.
Storage
Store devices away from direct sunlight, hot vehicles, liquids and loose metal objects. Keep removable cartridges upright where practical. Avoid leaving a battery connected to damaged hardware.
Travelling with devices
Airline, airport, event, venue and local rules can differ and can change. Check the current rules directly with the relevant carrier or authority before travelling. Do not rely on an old social post or general product guide as travel permission.
Never conceal a product or device from a required security process, and do not attempt to use an adult-use product where it is prohibited.
When to stop using a device
- Unusual heat, swelling or odour.
- Cracked casing or damaged charging port.
- Persistent leaking.
