Lifted Life respects your privacy and processes personal information in connection with this website, customer accounts, enquiries, orders, payments, delivery, support, marketing preferences, security, analytics and business administration. Who we are

Information we may collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may process information such as your name, email address, telephone number, billing and delivery details, account details, order history, transaction references and statuses, support messages, wholesale or affiliate information, loyalty information and other information you choose to submit.

We may also process technical and usage information such as IP address, browser/device information, cookie or session identifiers, referral source, landing page, pages viewed, security events and site-performance information.

Orders, payments and delivery

WooCommerce is used to operate customer accounts, carts, checkout and orders. Card and payment information may be processed by Peach Payments. Lifted Life generally receives the transaction reference, result or status needed to process an order rather than full card credentials. EFT Bank Transfer is also available where enabled.

Delivery information may be shared with delivery and fulfilment providers, including Fastway, where needed to quote, arrange or complete delivery.

Accounting and business records

Order and customer information may be processed in connected accounting, reporting and operational systems, including Sage Intacct, where needed for invoicing, reconciliation, stock, accounting, audit and business administration. We retain financial and transaction records for periods required by law and for legitimate accounting, dispute, security and audit purposes.

Analytics, performance and security

The site uses analytics, tag-management, performance and security tools to understand site usage, maintain performance, detect abuse and protect the website. These may include Google Tag Manager, Independent Analytics, NitroPack, Wordfence and other WordPress/WooCommerce security or performance components.

SEO and acquisition attribution

Where the optional first-party attribution feature is enabled or consented to, the site may record information such as referral/source, landing page, a pseudonymous reference and related customer or order evidence to understand whether a genuinely new customer was acquired through search or other agreed channels.

The attribution system is designed to distinguish existing customers from genuinely new customers. Existing account, order and enquiry records may be used in hashed or matched form for this purpose. The attribution cookie is configured for up to 90 days. A search-engine visit by itself is not treated as proof that a customer is a new SEO acquisition.

Marketing and communications

If you subscribe, opt in, begin a permitted customer journey or otherwise request communications, your information may be processed using email, abandoned-cart, affiliate, loyalty or customer-communication tools, including Mailchimp where applicable. You can use the unsubscribe or preference controls provided with marketing communications or contact us to request assistance.

The site uses cookies and similar technologies for functions such as age-gate choices, cart and checkout sessions, account login, security, preferences, analytics, performance and attribution. Some technology or service providers may process or store information outside South Africa. Where cross-border processing occurs, Lifted Life takes reasonable steps to use providers and arrangements intended to provide appropriate protection for personal information.

How long we keep information

Retention depends on the type of record and why it is needed. Account, order, accounting, security and support records may be retained while they are needed for service delivery, legal or tax obligations, fraud prevention, audit, dispute handling or other legitimate business purposes. Data that is no longer required should be deleted, anonymised or otherwise handled in accordance with applicable requirements.

Subject to applicable law and any lawful retention requirements, you may ask us to confirm whether we hold personal information about you, request access to it, ask for inaccurate information to be corrected, request deletion where appropriate, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing depends on consent. We use administrative and technical controls intended to protect personal information and the website from unauthorised access, misuse, alteration or disclosure. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so suspected security or privacy incidents should be reported promptly to us.

Age-restricted access

The website uses an age gate and is intended for adults who are legally eligible to access and purchase the products or services offered. Please do not provide personal information through the site if you are not eligible to use it.
